  • Welcome to Barrow Bay Living!
    Every story has a beginning; mine began as a teenager with a Betty Crocker cookbook and free rein in Mom's kitchen! That was so long ago. Now I'm retired and a grandma!
    In 2013, my husband, Bob and I left the big city for the shores of Barrow Bay and the community of Lions Head. And so the adventure continues!
    Over time, I have learned that a projects' success is all about the right attitude and the right approach. If you burn dinner or it ends up tasting awful, you can always order pizza. Some of the greatest memories and adventures begin as a misadventure. As for the right approach, it's simply good preparation, the best combination of ingredients, a solid method and the right tools.
    This site shares the approach, with "How To" videos, tried and true recipes, menus, and tips; and a dash of decorating, gardening, and crafting!
