This casserole version of chicken parmesan is so easy and so tasty!

Pour marinara sauce into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan. Top with mozzarella and basil.
Cut the chicken pieces almost in half lengthwise and open like a book. Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper. Place on top of mozzarella, overlapping so the chicken thickness is the same throughout the pan.
Mix together breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley and oregano, and sprinkle evenly on top of the chicken.
Bake in 375°F oven for 1 hour.
