TO ADD FLAVOUR: Dissolve chicken, beef or vegetable oxo cube in water, or add 1 tablespoon chicken, beef or vegetable boullion concentrate to water before rice is added.
Bring water to a boil in a large pot, and add rice. Cover, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, or until water is completely absorbed.
Remove pot from heat and let rice stand, covered for 10 minutes. The secret is to leave the pot covered while the rice is cooking.
Serve.
