Three-Banana Muffins

  • 3 large bananas
  • 3/4 cup(s) white sugar
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup(s) melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 cup(s) chocolate chips, if desired

Three-Banana Muffins Directions

In a large bowl, mash bananas. Add sugar and egg. Add melted butter. Set aside.

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and fold it into the banana mixture. Add chocolate chips.

Fill greased or paper-lined muffin tins with batter and bake in 375°F oven for 20 to 22 minutes. Test doneness by inserting toothpick. If it is batter-free when withdrawn from the muffin, the muffins are done.

Cool on wire rack.
