Mix together 5 tablespoons butter and graham wafer crumbs, and press evenly into a 9x13 baking pan.
With a hand mixer, blend together ½ cup butter, eggs, and icing sugar in medium-size bowl. Spread over the graham crust. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Prepare the dessert topping mix according to the package directions. Stir in the drained pineapple. Spread evenly over the butter layer. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours. Cut into 3-inch squares and serve.
